Local 391's Officers & Agents Sworn-In by IBT Secretary Treasurer

A 3-minute swearing-in ceremony took place on Saturday, January 20 at the Raleigh membership meeting in Raleigh. All members were invited to participate. The oath of office was administered by IBT General Secretary-Treasurer Ken Hall after which he addressed the Local 391 about issues pertaining to the membership, inluding the upcoming contract negotations at UPS and YRC.
"I was pleased to not face a divided campaign this past fall, especially going into such an important year as 2018 when we need to be as undivided as we possibly can," said McGaha. "I am honored once again to serve Local 391 and I cannot imagine having a more dedicated team than the officers and agents serving with me."
President McGaha and his team won a third election in the fall after no challengers emerged. For the next 3 years, McGaha will continue as President, Vernon Gammon will serve as Secretary-Treasurer, Rick Armstrong as Vice President. and Rachel Eitzen continues as the Recording Secretary for Local 391.
Local 391 also welcomes back Trustees Karen Matthews, JoCarolyn Wilkins, and Jimmy George along with Business Agents Wayne Gibbs, Chris Vaughn, Keith McCorkle, and Jody Whitlock.
Organizer Moses Darden also serves Local 391, but it is not an elected position.
