Local 391 members have requested that this website feature the list of NC members of Congress who voted for and against the omnibus budget bill that led to the proposed cuts in pensions to members of Central States. While the proposed cuts have been taken off the table, many wish to hold their members of Congress, including US Senators, who voted yes initially.
Voting for the pension cuts embedded in the omnibus budget bill: Senator Richard Burr (R), Senator Kay Hagan (D-retired), Members of Congress Renee Elmers (R-2nd), David Price (D-4th), Virginia Foxx (R-5th), Howard Coble (R-6th-deceased), Mike McIntyre (R-7th-retired), Richard Hudson (R-8th), Robert Pittenger (R-9th), Patrick McHenry (R-10th), Mark Meadows (R-11th), Alma Adams (D-12th), and George Holding (R-13th).

"We understand that the omnibus budget passed in the last Congress was a complicated piece of legislation," said Local 391 President Mike McGaha. "But we applaud Congressmen Butterfield and Jones, and Congresswoman Adams for standing with North Carolina retirees."
