This Sunday American families nationwide will be watching the Super Bowl – and fans in North Carolina will be cheering for their team to bring home its first Super Bowl victory. But not everyone is supporting Carolina.

MillerCoors plans to abandon North Carolina by shutting down its profitable, award-winning brewery in Eden, N.C. where 500 people work, including members of Teamsters Local 391.

The plant shutdown will devastate hundreds of working families and rob North Carolina of much-needed revenue. It will also eliminate more than 10 percent of MillerCoors’ U.S. production capacity, likely leading to future price hikes for customers.
