President Mike McGaha was re-elected to a 3-year term along with the McGaha-Gammon Team 391 slate in the Teamsters Local 391 election which concluded Monday, October 20.

Final votes were counted yesterday by an independent oversight agency and McGaha-Gammon Team 391 was declared the winner around 6PM.  The final vote count was 1364-853 in what turned out to be a 64%-36% split among ballots.  

President Mike McGaha and Secretary Treasurer Vernon Gammon will begin another 3-year term in January 2015.  Rick Armstrong will join the executive board as Vice President and Recording Secretary Rachel Eitzen will continue in her role.  

Teamsters Local 391 voted in Jody Whitlock as a new Business Agent in the election and he will mainly focus on freight barns.  Business Agent Dave Foley, who took over for retiring Paris Ware this fall, was also re-elected to his post.  

Business Agents Wayne Gibbs, Chris Vaughn, and Keith McCorkle will also continue in their current positions as will Trustees JoCarolyn Wilkins, Karen Matthews, and Jimmy George.
