Teamsters Local 391 is encouraging all members to participate in the NAACP’s rallies across North Carolina on Wednesday, August 28. These events mark the 50th anniversary of Dr. Martin Luther King’s historic “I Have A Dream” speech.
The rallies will bring to light the unconstitutional and immoral acts of the NC General Assembly and the influence their decisions have had on our local communities. Participants will also demand that Congress renew Section 4 of the Voting Rights Act.
